ARM-based Ethernet boards
Currently in development are ARM-based control boards
(180MHz and 60MHz) with integrated Ethernet facilities.
These are ideal for control and instrumentation applications
and will be supplied with a pre-configured Forth, TCP/IP stack,
web server and Telnet.
For more software details see our
Forth 6 and
PowerNet pages.
MPE USB ARM Stamp
The MPE USB ARM Stamp is a small
board (80 by 48 mm, 3.2 by 1.9 inches) containing a powerful
CPU, Flash, SRAM, and peripherals. The Flash is supplied with
a multi-tasking operating system and Forth compiler/interpreter.
Applications can be developed and run entirely on the board
itself, and turnkey applications can be
saved to excute at power up. Everything, including Flash programming,
is handled through the USB connection, which also provides all
power needed by the USB ARM Stamp. Windows USB drivers are provided
on the development CD. Mac, Linux, Free BSD and Open BSD drivers
are available by free download. A seriously fast bit of hardware.
Just plug one into a USB port and go.
Additional development support is available with the MPE Forth 6
VFX compiler and the Rowley CrossWorks C compiler
NMI NMIN2106-USB
The NMIN2106-USB is
electrically similar to the MPE USB ARM Stamp, but has a
prototyping area and more user accessible GPIO lines. The USB
connection is through the second serial port which is user
selectable between RS232 and USB.
NMI TiniARM
The TiniARM™ is a very small
board using the same ARM CPU as our ARM USB Stamp
and with very similar on-board software. Use the 1" by 1.3"
(25mm by 33mm) board as a component in your hardware.
Additional development support is available with the MPE Forth 6
VFX compiler and the Rowley CrossWorks C compiler
Forth 8051 Stamp Hardware and Compiler
The Forth 8051 Stamp is a professional
grade 8051 family Flash development system with board, MPE Forth
6 cross compiler, assembler, disassembler and SPI downloader.
Forth AVR Stamp
The Forth AVR Stamp is our
latest Forth Stamp development system with the MPE AVR Forth
Stamp compiler, assembler, disassembler, SPI downloader and
AVR Flash development. The system uses the 8MHz Atmel AT90S8515
AVR CPU, with 8k bytes of Flash, 512 bytes of EEPROM and
512 bytes of SRAM on chip
MPE PowerCPU Boards
MPE's Powerboard family is designed to provide economical industrial strength
systems for real time use. Boards are sized to Half (HE, 100mm by 80mm) or Full (FE, 100mm by 160mm)
Eurocard formats unless otherwise noted. Connections to the outside world are though two part
connectors for easy maintenance. The user simply brings plant wiring into
one half of the terminal block, and plugs that directly into the board.
A standard interconnect scheme allows all the peripheral cards to be used
by any of the CPU cards. MPE Forth cross compilers are available configured
for use with any PowerBoard.
