VFX Forth & ProForth Pricing

Introduction

We have a three-tier system of bundling VFX Forth for Windows and ProForth for DOS with different levels of support and source access. We have also introduced a set of services designed to provide MPE clients with services that are unavailable from larger software houses.

Product Bundling

VFX Forth for Windows version 3.4 Standard  £245.00
ProForth for DOS version 2.2 Standard  £145.00

Forth software plus 90 days technical support from receipt of registration. Subsequent support will be charged at consultancy rates.

Educational discount available.

N.B. VFX Forth Standard includes the source code without the VFX code generation sources and without the cross compiler required to rebuild the sources.

VFX Forth for Windows version 3.5 Professional  £950.00
ProForth for DOS version 2.2 Professional  £445.00

As Standard package plus kernel source, Forth cross compiler without source where applicable (VFX Forth), and one year regular technical support package. Requires an NDA to be signed before delivery of source.

VFX Forth for Windows Mission  £3000.00
ProForth for DOS Mission  £1500.00

As Professional package plus all other sources such as wrapper, binder, DLL scanner and GUIDE source. Includes one year of a Forth Mission extended technical support contract. Requires an NDA to be signed before delivery of source. VFX Forth for Windows 3.x rebuilding includes the MPE Forth VFX 386+ Cross Compiler.

New Services

For committed developers using VFX Forth for Windows and ProForth for DOS, our extended technical support contract provides regular updates and telephone support. This way, we can include our service customers in the development process, giving them regular upgrades before the non-service clients.

Two packages are available to match the Professional and Mission grades, which must be purchased first. Note that Standard clients do not have the service option.

ProForth Professional Extended Contract  £500.00 pa (~£50.00 pcm)

ProForth Mission Extended Contract  £995.00 pa (~£80.00 pcm)
